How Does Coaching Work?
The Coaching Call
This is the cornerstone of your coaching program. Usually conducted online, using video conferencing, this is a regular meeting with your coach, where you make and review plans, learn new skills and explore different solutions to your everyday challenges.
Your coach will follow up every call with a documented action plan. Use it as a checklist and a reminder of the highlights of your discussion. Occasionally it will also include recommended reading, audio downloads and other resources.
Feedback & Advice
Feel free to ask for help anytime. Just send a message to your coach. You’ll usually get an immediate response with advice, or an answer to your questions. Or just update your coach on your progress and get some encouragement.
Progress should not go unnoticed. Keep track of how far you’ve come and how much you’ve developed. The progress report will show you a detailed history of the challenges you’ve managed to overcome and the new skills you’ve learnt.
